Summary	Blue Bar and Restaurant is named after the dark blue rolling waves that you can see from your inside or balcony table. Crisp white linen, modern Australian food, real cocktails, icy cold tap beer and a wide range of wines and champagnes all compliment the view and atmosphere. We invite you to come and join us for a drink on the balcony and watch the sunset before you dine or journey on. Aria has the Opera House. We have the Sea and Avoca Beach. Families are welcome and there is ample parking. Open 7 days a week in summer and holiday periods. Lunch 12 till 2.30 Dinner 6 till 9.30. Please phone for winter trading times.
Details	We have seating for up to 120 indoors and up to 40 out on the balcony. Perfect for Sunday lunch, a romantic dinner or a sumptuous 3 course meal personally designed for a celebration. We offer fine casual dining and are now taking bookings for weddings, functions and celebrations. We can work with you on your cuisine and beverage requirements, from the booking right through to the happy event, on a cost per head basis ( with no added costs for booking out the bar and restaurant). All that's left for you to do is enjoy the occasion, with your friends, sipping wine on the balcony or dancing the night away on the open dance floor. If you wish to come and see us in action, we now offer music on Friday nights and a movie/meal deal ( 2 courses and ticket for A$40 pp Avoca Beach Picture Theatre ). Avoca Beach SLSC	Sporting Club	We are a strong community club who offer different activities for all age groups. We aim to help bring out the confidence and raise individuals self esteem, through team building and individual respect.	On 6 January 1929, 7 days after a tragic double drowning at Avoca Beach, the community got together and the foundation club for Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club was formed. Four months later the club had 12 Foundation Bronze Holders, even though the Club still did not have its own reel. In 1930 the Club gained its first surfboat and a further 6 Bronze Medallion holders.
