History
The name Wondabyne, NSW has been used for 4 different sites over the years. The first station opened in 1891, then it moved in 1901, again in 1918 and has now been in the same spot since 3rd April 1939. The tunnel between here and Woy Woy was completed in July 1886, took over 124,000 cubic yards of excavation and used over 10 miilion bricks to build. It is the longest train tunnel in Australia.
