History
Wagstaffe was know as Mulhall's Point in the 1830's after it's owner Patrick Mulhall. It was changed to Wagstaffe in 1895, by Capt.George Wagstaffe, when he bought the land. Other names it has been known as include, Halls Point and Mount Pleasant. The land was subdivided around 1906.
